Easy Selecting
People want to easily select images on a page and move them around. Photoshop has this ability, but it's turned off by default. Let's turn them on.
Turn on Auto-Select and Show Transform Controls
With the move tool selected, check the two boxes above.
The result
Now when you click on a box with the move tool, you will select it. Additionally, you will see the transform controls (the little squares on the corners and edges). This will help you resize boxes.
Click and drag for multiple selections
If you click outside of the boxes (1) and drag across multiple boxes (2) you can select multiple boxes at one time.
