Using Super Ninja (Recommended to new users)

Basics of super ninja

It will ignore selections

If you make a selection, it will ignore it. Super Ninja is created to layout an entire spread.

You can make a selection, it just de-selects for you.

Upgrading from v3.X to v3.5

New users will not experience this, but upgraders will.

If you see "undefined" in any spaces, simply go back to your Ninja Layout settings and save your Super Ninja Layout settings. Find out how HERE

Basic Concept on Choices

Super Ninja Layout let's you choose a page for your main image and then builds accent images on the other side. In this example, I want a full bleed image on the left side (will fill the entire page) and a grid of 2:3 horizontals on the right side, four across and three down (just like grid maker)

Basic Concepts Result

Here you can see the result. This took, literally, two seconds for Super Ninja to build.

Main Image Options

For the main image, you can choose "Left" or "Right"

Additionally, you can choose for it to be a Vertical (2:3 ratio), Horizontal (2:3 ration) or Full Bleed (will fill the entire half of the page).

Accent Images

You can choose to make a collage similar to Row and Column Maker OR a grid, like grid maker.

Collage

For the collage simply choose your verticals, horizontals and/or squares. You can have "Zero" for any item.

All verticals are built onto one row or column, all horizontals on another row or column and all squares on another.

If you choose "vertically" for the build it will build columns going up and down. Horizontally will be rows.

Grid

If you choose Grid for your accent images. You can choose to constrain your images by a ratio. 1:1 = square, etc. If you constrain by 2:3 or 5:4 then you can choose Horizontal or Vertical. The Horizontal and Vertical dropdown does nothing if you choose none or 1:1.

Then choose your Across and Down grid, spacing and you are good to go.

Settings Panel

Just click the S to go to the settings panel.

Your settings

1 - this will only affect Puzzle Maker
2- This will affect both Grid Maker AND Grid in Super Ninja Layout
3 - This will only affect the collage in Super Ninja Layout
4 - This will affect ALL modules.
